Lorne - Devlog 01


The first week was spent planning out the concept for the game. The main idea came from browsing the Unity API. There is a feature in Unity called "Load Scene Additive", it lets you load more than one scene at once. It's main use is to help organize the levels and data in a game but we thought it would be fun to use it to mess with the player by having him walk into a building and then change the level outside so that he would be in a different location when he walked out again.  This idea is quite simple and would fit any art style, we decided to set it in a mysterious temple in the middle of the desert. A bunch of reference images were gathered on Pinterest to help define the art style.
